Google unveils Google Transit Trip Planner

The Google Maps API has been put to use in a new Google Labs experiment: Google Transit Trip Planner. The tool is only available for Portland, Oregon at the present time but Google promises to roll Transit out to cities across the U.S. and around the world in the future.
