New Street View Cities added!
6 New US cities have been added to Google Maps Street View! Detroit, Boston, Providence, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Dallas are all able to be viewed at street level by clicking the "Street View" toggle button at the top right of the viewport in Google Maps. Look for parking before you set out, explore city landmarks, search for a local business or look at a house you might be interested in buying! Street View is an awesome way to explore cities!

Great news! Can't wait to see the interesting Google Street View "finds" that will be surfacing via this guys page with close to 1000 Google Street View finds:

Minneapolis/St. Paul was also added today.
Don't forget about Texas! Dallas and Fort Worth were added as well.
Um, also Minneapolis.
We exist too.
when are they going to add seattle? anyone know a contact person at google maps to ask this to?
Sorry to all of you in Minneapolis and Dallas! I've updated the post to reflect these other 2 cities!

I'm really impressed by the Dallas-area coverage:
http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&om=1&layer=c&ll=32.835751,-96.952972&spn=0.481163,1.384277&z=10
It covers basically the entire DFW metroplex. Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, etc.
Compare the above to the Providence, RI coverage:

can't wait for the Australian launch - there have been sightings of the car in all sorts of places, even including some of the larger regional towns like Geelong.
