UFO Caught on Google Earth

UFO Route Simulator

UFO from Keir Clarke on Vimeo.

Microformats.dk has created a Google Earth browser plug-in application that shows the flight of a UFO over Copenhagen. The simulator is modelled on the excellent Path Tour Simulator, showing a tour of the Formula 1 race track at Silverstone.

The UFO Route Simulator is in Danish but is very easy to use. Click "Indlæs UFO Data" to load the kml of the route. A pop up appears saying "OK" when the kml has loaded. Next just press the "Start" button" to start the simulator.

It is also possible to load other kml routes into the simulator. For example if you've ever wanted to see a UFO skiing - load this kml into the simulator (right click and copy link location). This kml is of the world's most dangerous ski run (see below).

The World's Most Dangerous Ski Run

Kitzbühel is said to be the most dangerous downhill ski run in the world. If you want to know how dangerous it is you can watch a first person video of the run as seen in the Google Earth browser. You can watch the video at 20minutes.Fr (translated into English).
