Finding Your Ancestors on Google Maps

Ancestral Atlas

Ancestral Atlas is using Google Maps to show where people's ancestors were born, lived and dies. Registered users can add their family history to the map and choose if and how they wish the world to see the data.

All data added to the map and visible is searchable by date, event type, name and location. Subscribers can also communicate with each other making this an interesting social network for genealogical discovery.
