Fun With Google Latitude

The Google Mobile Blog has a fun post on some of the antics users have been getting up to with Google Latitude, Google's location-aware mobile phone application.

They report on the Garage 419 race that was featured on Google Maps Mania earlier this week. They also feature The Whyte and Mackay Safari Hunt, a game in which people had to use Twitter and Google Latitude to find red lions in Glasgow and London pubs.

The Google Latitude team themselves caught the fun bug and decided to use the application to send someone a message. Here's the video they made of the creation of a very large message on Google Maps.
