Sengal Drinking Water Map

AGEPA

The AGEPA project has produced a Google Map to provide information about access and about the management of drinking water and sanitation in a number of villages in Senegal. One aim of the project is to provide better knowledge about drinking water resources to enable for the better planning of development projects for rural water supply in the area.

A Geographic Information System 'AgepaBase' has been developed by the project in order to monitor and share information. The data from the project can be accessed via a Google Map. It is possible to view data for each of the villages used in the project and refine the data shown by type and feature.
