Watch Where You Spray Google Map

Driftwatch

Driftwatch is a Google Maps mashup of sensitive areas that Indiana farmers can use to check before spraying pesticides. The map displays pesticide sensitive sites in Indiana, such as beehives, certified organic fields, fruits, fish farms, grapes, floriculture or greenhouse production, or crops like pumpkins, melons, tomatoes and vegetables.

Farm owners who have pesticide sensitive crops can register their own crop fields by registering with Driftwatch. Adding a sensitive site to Drifwatch is very easy, it just involves drawing a polyline around the boundary of the area. Currently more than 500 Indiana pesticide sensitive crops sites are registered with Driftwatch.
