Geocoding Using Google Maps

Address Validation Tool

Google Maps Mania's new Australian contributor Arek of All Things Spatial has just released an address geocoder that uses the Google Maps API to find the latitude and longitude of addresses.

To use the geocoder you just need to enter a list of addresses and press 'start'. You can then review, edit and save each address individually before outputting the geocoded results as a csv, kml or GeoRSS file.

I currently use the Batch Geocode website to geocode addresses but I like the choice of output in the Address Validation Tool. I think it might just become my preferred geocoding tool.
