Scatter Plot Charts and Google Maps

Raphael Scatterplot Map

This is a cool example of Google Maps being used in conjunction with a scatter plot. The map and the graph show pubs in Brighton, UK.

The scatter plot charts show Brighton pubs plotted by atmosphere / beer quality and atmosphere / noise level. Because the charts and the map are synchronised it is possible to click on a pub in one of the charts and see its location on the Google Map. In this way it is possible to quickly locate the pub with the best beer quality and atmosphere on the map.
