We Have a Problem Euston

This TransportBuzz Demo is a funny, sometimes rude but interesting map of Twitter messages sent from around London's Euston station. The map was developed by the Transport API, which uses open data feeds from the UK's public transit authorities to provide information on national timetables and live departure and arrival times.

The TransportBuzz map displays transport related tweets from around London's Euston train station. This means that you can listen into the often angry and rude messages sent by a horde of angry commuters.

Another interesting Twitter map is this EchoSec map from the Australian Open. The competition is proving a little controversial as the players have been complaining about having to play in Australia's record high temperatures.

The EchoSec Google Map displays social media messages and photos from spectators using Instagram, Twitter and Foursquare.
