No sooner had I posted about 360Cities latest update than Map Channels got in touch to say they have just released Map Channels Version 3. Map Channels is a website tool that lets you create and embed a custom map into your website or blog without the need for coding.
Version 3 of Map Channels includes these new features:
- User-definable dictionaries to present maps in any language
- Support for spreadsheet data in either tab-delimited format or from Google Spreadsheets
- Support for GeoRSS feeds using the Google Feeds API
- Marker clustering to display large numbers of markers on a map
- Google Street View
- Microsoft Virtual Earth
