At the moment over 50 wildfires are raging in the Canadian province of Quebec. A number of the fires are active north of St. Lawrence Valley. SOPFEU, Canada's forest fire protection society, has a Google Map that shows the active fires in the Quebec area.
As well as showing the current location of the Quebec fires the map includes options to view a number of layers. The layers show where preventive measures are in force, areas where access is currently prohibited and areas where burning is banned.
