Moment Tracker is a nice idea to allow users to record where they were at important moments in history or important moments in their own lives.
Currently the site has a number of Google Maps where users can post their location and add comments. These include a 9/11 map and a map for the passing of Whitney Houston. If you register with Moment Tracker you can add your location and comment to either of these maps.
Moment Tracker also has a number of personal history maps. These include a map to record where you were when you got engaged, a Valentine's Day map and a New Year's Eve map. Members can also suggest their own subjects for possible memory maps.
