Two weeks back Google Maps Mania reviewed four great astronomy maps. Here's another really great map of the night sky.
Paul Neave's Planetarium is a really nice interactive map for exploring the stars and planets. The map allows users to view the positions of the stars and planets in the night sky for any time & date. The map includes a compass view that helps users orientate their view. Users can also turn on or off the constellations

Not as good as Stellarium which is also free but I bet this is much easier to use!
