Tweet a transit query to this Google Maps based route finder and you will receive a link to a Google Map that automagically displays your route.
Plan Paris Metro interactif works really well as a traditional Paris Metro route finder. You can enter any two destinations into the application and view a suggested route shown on a Google Map, You also get step-by-step directions explaining how to compete your journey.
What I like best about this map however is the amazing Tweetbot feature that allows you to request a route via Twitter. Post a message on Twitter to '@vasyenmetro' and mention two Metro stations and you will automatically receive a reply including a link to your suggested route. Messages need to be submitted in the form '@vasyenmetro station1/station2' e.g. '@vasyenmetro hakeim/blanc'.
