English Noise Mapping is a Leaflet map of English Strategic Noise Mapping data published by the UK's Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs. The map shows the noise levels along major English roads and railway lines.
For both major roads and railway lines there is a choice of data to view on the map. Select 'Lden' to view the 24 hour annual average noise level. 'Lnight' displays the night time annual average noise level (11pm - 7am). 'LAeq' visualizes the annual average noise levels for the hours between 0700 – 2300.
