I only noticed because I have a custom map with all the tours I've done so far on it (http://goo.gl/maps/4Onz) and it was dragging the little peg man onto it and realised they were interior pano hotspots, hovering over dots showing the interior thumbnail.
Scoopzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05610674166639229965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12158290.post-42132865756254664602012-07-20T17:50:17.776-05:002012-07-20T17:50:17.776-05:00Scoopz - thanks for the update! I didn't realise that those navigational aides were added so long ago - I only noticed them this week.Keir Clarkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07052313829398691711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12158290.post-57859719590869302802012-07-20T17:42:20.512-05:002012-07-20T17:42:20.512-05:00I'm one of the Google photographers (http://il...I'm one of the Google photographers (http://ilogic.co.uk/google-business-photos/) for the interior street views (aka Google Business Photos) in the UK and the little blue dots you see whilst hovering with the peg man were implemented about 4 or 5 weeks ago, around the same time that Google integrated the interior street views with the main road street view so you could walk in off the street Scoopzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05610674166639229965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12158290.post-86018873304902247672012-07-20T06:15:13.645-05:002012-07-20T06:15:13.645-05:00Also it seems that the Street View competition has...Also it seems that the Street View competition has died out as several years ago there were a lot of companies putting out their own SV.Kylenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12158290.post-61716859075628097662012-07-20T06:14:31.946-05:002012-07-20T06:14:31.946-05:00Not that I am complaining but NOW they've come...Not that I am complaining but NOW they've come up with this method even though they were The King of technology?

I don't know about anybody else but I've noticed ever since Google cooperated with China their quality has gone 'down the tubes' period.
And the funny thing is that China once HACKED into Google's own systems a few years ago when Google Kylenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12158290.post-3573399762883922042012-07-19T15:38:22.744-05:002012-07-19T15:38:22.744-05:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.http://www.centplay.com/affiliate/id_3521/http://www.centplay.com/affiliate/id_3521/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12158290.post-6965764182630530012012-07-17T12:30:20.582-05:002012-07-17T12:30:20.582-05:00I tried this out by zooming in on Times Square and...I tried this out by zooming in on Times Square and dropping Pegman on the first place I could find. I had no idea where I was -- it was just some anonymous restaurant. I had to walk Pegman out the front door to see the name.
