Scotland is a gorgeous country of wonderful people and beautiful landscapes. Unfortunately when the Scots venture outdoors to celebrate the annual two days of sun they are immediately attacked by swarms of blood-thirsty midges.
The Scottish Midge Forecast is a Google Map that reports on midge levels throughout the country. The map uses a simple numerical marker system to indicate midge levels, with '1' showing a negligible threat and '5' suggesting that you may well be eaten alive.
