Tag Map of the UK is an attempt to map the geographical variations in the game's name throughout the UK.
The resulting Google Map shows some interesting variations. In the north of the UK and in Scotland 'tiggy' is popular with children, whilst in the south children seem to stick with the name 'tag', except in London, where the game is more usually called 'had, 'he' or 'hit.
