Mapping Mark Twain
According to this map there are nearly 20,000 locations mentioned in the works of Mark Twain. Using the map you can explore the locations mentioned in the collected works of Mark Twain or explore all the locations used in each individual Mark Twain publication.
Mapping the Works of Mark Twain provides two main views. The 'marker map' shows the locations mentioned in the works of Mark Twain. In this view you can click on individual markers to read the passage where the location is mentioned. The 'line map' view draws lines connecting the locations in the order which they mentioned in the text.
The map does include quite a few geo-coding errors, mainly where character names have been geo-coded or where American locations have been located on their European namesakes.
