Introducing Dog Sled View
In Google's never ending quest to map the world it has strapped the Street View cameraman to the front of a locomotive in Switzerland, tied him to the mast of a boat in the Amazon and hung him off the edge of the world's tallest building.
Now Google's intrepid Street View cameraman has been strapped into a sled behind a pack of baying dogs and sent off into Canada’s Arctic wilds. The Street View captured from that sleigh ride has now been added to Google Maps. This new update includes Street View imagery from the snowy streets, snowmobile trails and dog sled runs of Nunavut’s capital, Iqaluit.
