Salt Mines and Fukushima on Street View
This week's addition of new Street View on Google Maps has not just involved the introduction of Street View in Colombia and lots of new imagery in New Zealand.
In Poland Google Business Photos of the world's most luxurious Salt Mine have been added to Google Maps. The Wieliczka Salt Mine, built in the 13th century, is one of the world's oldest salt mines still in operation. The mine includes three chapels and a huge underground cathedral.
In Japan Google Maps has new Street View imagery from the Fukushima Exclusion Zone, including the abandoned towns of Ōkuma and Futaba.
