This Google Maps mashup from the UK Marine Protected Areas Centre shows the location of different Marine Protected Areas in the United Kingdom. Currently it displays information on Special Areas of Conservation (SAC), Special Protection Areas (SPA), Voluntary MPAs and Marine Nature Reserves (MNR).
There are plans to develop the map further to display key information about each of the sites, with contact details for the MPA manager/warden/nature conservation agency officer and a link to relevant websites.
