LetsWalkTo is a handy Google Maps based application that can help you find places to visit within walking distance of your current location. Using LetsWalkTo you can find nearby restaurants, bars or other businesses within walking distance of any location.
You can search LetsWalkTo by entering a location, a walking time and a type of business. The application then shows a Google Map of your location with the area you can walk to (in your given time) highlighted on the map. All the local businesses within walking distance are displayed on the map with categorized map markers.
LetsWalkTo is a very handy application to find nearby restaurants, cafes etc within walking distance of your current location. It could also be a really handy tool to use when looking to find a hotel with eating / entertainment venues nearby.

I wish this website still existed. Google searching took way too long to find a way to find jobs that I could reasonably walk to since I don't have a car. This website would be perfect. But it looks like its been taken down as of 10/2024. I assume the internet has changed in some fundamental way that makes this kind of service impossible nowadays. I hate this timeline
