Very interesting information but how can we suggest new mashups ?
I have just finished the first version of a "wiki-mashup" where people can publish their own POI, with pictures, links, videos...
The data base as been initialized with 1000 POI samples from France.
The URL is www.venividiwiki.eu
(meaning: "I went, I saw, I share" as almost said Jules Cesar, in Rome, a long time ago)

I'm looking forward to receiving feedbacks and suggestions ...

Thank you!!! Thank you!!!! I think this information was awesome!! Very informative. I think other people should not be so judmental. So what if the information is about the United States? There is nothing wrong with that. There is nothing disrespectful against other countries. There are other international references in this blog. Thanks for posting

May I share my google map application?

It is a MOOD map. Users submit color representing their mood at the moment. The system will generate a mood index every day based on the users' color.

If I may add another to the list, www.folkjam.org.

This is a site a friend I and built that is essentially a specialized google search engine for finding (and sharing) acoustic jam sessions - Bluegrass, Irish, Celtic, Old Time and other folk genre jams.

Great list. Another one to add to it - www.mapmytracks.com - which provides real-time GPS tracking using your mobile phone. All tracks overlayed on Google maps.

petaku.com is also about jakarta, but not using mapgoogle engine.. i think googlemaps engine are good.. but it factorize the dependency factors to the actual content. if google is down.. then the website is down, thus contents are not visible anymore.. dont u think?
