The 3D Flight Tracker
We are all familiar with live flight tracking maps, like Flightradar24, adsbexchange and FlightAware, that show planes moving in real time on top of a 2D map. These services let us see where aircraft are flying, where they’re headed, and where they have come from - all on an interactive map.
But what if you could actually see those planes move through the air in three dimensions, gliding and flying around each other in 3D space? - That’s exactly what Air Loom offers.
Air Loom is a brand new, browser-based 3D air traffic map that brings a whole new level of immersion to flight tracking. Unlike traditional flight maps, Air Loom displays aircraft in a fully rotatable, tilt-enabled 3D environment. You can zoom in to see holding patterns unwind above an airport, and tilt the camera to compare the relative altitudes of the planes in view.
Air Loom currently features more than 130 major airports around the world, offering global coverage that spans every continent. The United States is particularly well represented, with around 80 airports - from major hubs like Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Chicago to regional gateways such as Des Moines, Providence, and Reno. In Europe, users can explore over 25 airports, including London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and Madrid.
Air Loom maps a 4,000+ km radius around each airport, allowing you to watch flights arriving and departing each runway. With its rotatable, tilt-enabled 3D environment, Air Loom transforms traditional flight tracking into a spatial, dynamic experience - one where you can observe a real time network of aircraft moving through three-dimensional airspace.
