Where the rich at

WNYC has created an interactive map that shows the median household income for all neighborhoods in the United States. The Median Income Across the US map uses the latest U.S. Census Bureau data to provide a heatmap of US incomes.

The map doesn't provide any great surprises, showing high earners in the northeast corridor from Boston to Washington DC and in a number of major cities. You can zoom in on any city on the map to view the neighborhoods with the highest and lowest household median incomes.
