The Guardian has mapped the biggest causes of death in each London borough. What kills Londoners? uses the Google Maps API to provide a number of heat map layers showing how many people have died in each London Borough from a number of specific different causes.
Users can select from the causes of death from a drop-down menu and click on each borough to view a breakdown of the number of residents dying from each cause. The data for the map comes from the UK Office for National Statistics.
