West Zealand in Pictures

Myplace is a joint project by five museums in West Zealand, Denmark. It is a crowdsourcing project asking the public to send in geotagged photographs which contain one of the following subjects; a harbour, a hill, a lake, a town square or a tree.

So far over 1,000 photos have been submitted. The photographs can be viewed on this Google Map mashup, which animates through the uploaded photographs. They can also be seen as slideshows on large screens in each of the participating museums. There is even a rolling competition for the best photo of the week.
