The Real Heat Map of Sweden is a real heat map of Sweden. The map displays current temperatures in the country and a handy heat map overlay provides an overview of current temperatures across the country.

The heat map uses darker shades of blue to show colder temperatures. At the moment Sweden is looking very cold indeed so the colour blue dominates the map. I guess we will have to visit the map again in the summer to find out how the heat map represents warmer temperatures.

Interesting ! This type of map should show increasing and decreasing heat with increasing accessibility to other destinations in aggregate. That's a calculation-intensive problem, though.
