GoPlanit is a travel planning tool that can create personalized trips for a number of U.S. cities.
To start planning your trip you need to select the city that you are visiting. Then you choose the types of activities that you are interested in from; attractions, night life, arts & culture, romantic, kids, shopping, nature and tours.
GoPlanIt then automatically (and very quickly) creates an itinerary for each day of your trip based on your requirements and a Google Map highlighting all the recommended places to visit.
Once you are satisfied with your personal itinerary you can then print out maps, all contact information, notes, and pictures. You can even access your itinerary and map directly from your mobile phone.
