Explore India with Street View & Wonobo
Street View on Google Maps is currently restricted to a number of culturally and historically important locations, including the Taj Mahal, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and the Red Fort. This is why for now Wonobo remains my destination of first choice when I want to explore interactive panoramic imagery of Indian cities.
Wonobo currently has Street View type imagery for a number of Indian cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Banglore, Chennai, Hyderbad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Agra, Jaipur and Surat. Wonobo has now also launched Wonobo Walking Tours.
Wonobo worked with the Indian Ministry of Tourism to create these virtual walking tours of Indian cities and places of interest. The guided tours allow you to explore Indian locations using Wonobo's interactive panoramic imagery. As you follow the tours information about places of interest along your route is provided below the Street View imagery.
If you want a good place to start your Wonobo tour of India why not take the Elephanta Caves Walking Tour.
