The Poetic Streets of Toronto

I leave the zoo with the moon on the park,
The wolves asleep, the lions going down
(even the sun leaves Scarborough before it's dark)

The Toronto Public Library and Toronto poet laureate George Elliott Clarke have created a map to help you explore the city through poetry.

The Toronto Poetry Map includes excerpts of poems associated with Toronto locations. Select one of the circular markers on the map and the associated excerpts will appear in the map sidebar. The size of the circles on the map reflect the number of excerpts about the location.
