Pumping Water with Google Maps
Papa Pump is a system for pumping water over long distances with no fuel. The Papa Pump website includes a handy Google Maps based application for choosing the prime location for a Papa water powered pump.
Users of the application need to enter the location of their water source on the Google Map. They can then indicate where they want the water pumped to or stored. Finally users can show where they want the pump located.
After users have added their three locations they just need to click the 'calculate' button and the application will display the approximate water delivered a day for that configuration. Users can experiment with different locations for the pump to discover the optimum spot for their Papa pump.
