Drop a Message in a Bottle
Unstoried: Send a Message in a Bottle is a beautifully simple idea executed as a playful WebGL globe: a place where anyone can drop a virtual message into the ocean and see what drifts back from strangers around the world.
Unstoried is meant to be a modern, planet-scale revival of early web guestbooks - except instead of signing a page, you cast a single bottle adrift upon a virtual 3D globe and hope someone, somewhere, finds it. The globe itself is intentionally stylized - more sketch than satellite - with hand-drawn touches like glowing city lights, drifting clouds, and animated details that reward exploration.
Each user gets just one bottle, which adds a quiet sense of scarcity. To read a message you simply need to click on any of the bottles drifting around on the virtual globe. The contents vary wildly: some are poetic, some promotional, others playful or experimental. You can upvote your favorite messages - and a button in the map's side-panel allows you to quickly zoom to the world's most favorited message in a bottle.
