Anton Corbijn is one of the world's leading music video directors and over the last 25 years he has worked with many of the greatest rock bands. Soren Johannessen has used the Map Channels Feed API to produce a Google Maps mashup of many of Corbijn's music videos.
Soren has used a couple of criteria to geo-tag the videos. Many are geo-tagged by where they were shot. When it is not known where the video was shot Soren has geo-tagged them by the home town of the band or artist.

pretty interesting snapshot of classic music vids, everything from old Metallica clips right up thru Coldplay viva la vida...! I never realised so many of these were made in Europe actually.
