Google Maps Developer News

Promote Your Maps
The Google Lat/Long Blog yesterday published a post asking about some of the cool ways people are using Google Maps and Google Earth. Google are hoping to get a good intake of stories from people using Google Maps or Google Earth to feature as posts on the blog.

This could be an opportunity for developers of Google Maps to generate some good publicity and traffic. If you have a geo-related story to tell then fill out this form and let Google know!

Via: Google LatLong: How do you geo? Share your story!

If you are able to I strongly recommend going to Google I/O this year. On May 27 - 28, 2009 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, thousands of web developers will come together to learn how to develop web applications with Google and open technologies.

Members of the Google Maps team will be there! Check out the many sessions on offer over the two days and register here.

Where 2.0 Conference

If you can you should also try to get to the Where 2.0 conference on the 19-21st May in San Jose, California. Check here for the sessions on offer at Where 2.0 this year.
