Street View has expanded in The Netherlands to include coverage of Utrecht, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Den Bosch, Tilburg and Leeuwarden (adding to the previous coverage of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Groningen).
Interestingly this means that we are now able to see The Palace Noordeinde in Den Haag. The palace is pixelated in Google Maps satellite view but for some reason we are allowed to see it in Street View.
The Hague is also home to the Escher Museum, which disappointingly owes none of its architecture to the artist, but does have a large poster of an Escher painting hanging outside.
In Leeuwarden there is a picturesque view of De Waag.
In Eindhoven there is even a nice view of a UFO touching down.

This is a huge update, also outside of the mentioned cities. Much of the countryside is now also covered.
ReplyDeleteThe cities that already had streetview also have updates. My street in Amsterdam is now covered, while it wasn't before!
This is not the Noordeinde Palace, just a side entrance for the horses.. The main entrance is not visible with Street View even though cars are allowed to drive to the small square in front of the Palace.
