Live Real-time Video of Earth
NASA is now broadcasting live real-time film of Earth as seen from the International Space Station.
The High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experiment has placed four HD cameras on the exterior of the space station and is useing them to stream live video of Earth. Because this view of Earth is live at times you might not see anything on the cameras, this is usually because the ISS is flying over the night-time side of the Earth.
The live view of the Earth is accompanied by a Google Map showing where the ISS is currently positioned and an ESA map which shows the ISS in relation to the Earth's daylight and night-time.
