The Participatory Budget Map
The New York City Council's Participatory Budgeting project allows voters to propose and decide how part of the city's capital budget should be spent. Through the scheme members of the public can propose projects which they believe should receive capital funding.
The Participatory Budgeting Idea Collection Map is a neat map interface which New Yorkers can use to submit their ideas for location specific projects. To submit an idea you just need to center the map on the correct location and click the 'submit' button and complete a short form outlining the scope and purpose of your project.
You can also use the map to browse the project ideas submitted by other New Yorkers and to comment on these proposals.
All ideas must be submitted by November 16, 2015.
