MountainsMounts.com is a Google Maps mashup with geo-information for over 100,000 mountains peaks around the world.
The mountains are categorised by country, and listed in order of height. Each mountain has it's own dedicated web page which features a Google Map showing the satellite image and some geographical information about the peak. The site also uses the Google Static Maps API to show another two satellite views of each mountain at different zoom levels.
This is a great resource for anyone interested in mountains. It would be really nice if a Google Earth plugin view was added to the map drop down menu options. This would allow the user to view each peak with the 3D terrain available in Google Earth.
