Create Your Own Interactive Map with Mapme

Have you ever wanted to create your own interactive map? You can now easily create your own Google Map using mapme.

Mapme is a new Google Maps based creation tool which enables you to create your own free maps without having to do any coding. Using mapme's intuitive map creation tool you can quickly create an interactive map with its own unique web address. You can then share the map with your family, friends or customers or you can embed the map into your website or blog.

The whole process of creating a map with mapme is very simple to follow and easy to complete.

Adding markers to your map is very easy. You can enter the address of the location you wish to add to the map or you can just just drop a marker on the location. Alternatively you can import data to your map from a KML or Excel file. You can also choose from a number of different icons for your map markers.

Another really neat feature of mapme is that you can change the map style as well. If you click on the 'settings' option in the menu and choose 'map themes' you can choose from a number of different map styles that have been submitted to Snazzy Maps.

Mapme also includes a crowd-sourcing feature which means you can even allow users to add content to your map. When visiting your map, users can click the 'add to map' link and submit content to the map. As the manager of the map you will receive an email with the details of the submission and you can then approve or deny the addition to the map.

Thanks to mapme's intuitive interface and easy to follow instructions creating a new map is very easy. Using mapme I was able to create a map of the UK's top ten most popular theme parks in a matter of a few minutes. You can view my completed map at http://mapme.com/uk-theme-parks.
