Google Maps in Your Posterous

Posterous

Posterous is a very innovative platform for publishing to the web via e-mail. To use the site you just e-mail your stuff to post@posterous.com and it immediately appears on your very own blog and on your other social networks. Posterous works with photos, videos and now with Google Maps.

Embedding a Google Map in a post is very easy. All you have to do is copy and paste the map link from Google Maps and drop it on its own line into your email. An interactive map will then appear in your post.

Posterous can also use the location data in photos you post. Posterous looks up the geocoordinates encoded in your photo and displays the name of the place with a link that expands into a map.
