The Washington Post's
DC Housing Market map visualizes the health of Washington's DC housing market in 2014 at zip-code level. The map consists of three main data layers exploring; house prices, time to sell and the sale to list price.
You can navigate through the three main choropleth data layers using the menu at the top of the map. However the visualization also allows you to progress through the three main data views by scrolling up & down the page. The top five performing zip-code areas are also listed for each data layer.
If you enter a zip-code the map zooms to show the selected area and adds it to the map sidebar, showing you where the zip-code ranks compared to the other zip-codes in D.C..
