The Cost of Living Map

The Cost of Living Map is an interesting map which allows you to compare the cost of living between any two American cities.

Select any two cities from the drop-down menu and the cities will be highlighted on the map. The up arrow marker on the map indicates the city with the higher cost of living and the other city is marked with a down arrow to show it has a lower cost of living.

Along the bottom of the map a panel breaks down the cost of living in both cities into different areas, including housing, utilities, groceries, transport and health. Each category includes an arrow to indicate which city has the higher living costs in that area and an overall percentage score is displayed to show how much more your cost of living would be if you lived in the more expensive city.
