Mapping Ambulance Response Times

If you live in the eastern UK counties of Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire you should try extra hard not to find yourself in a life threatening condition. If you do then you might have to wait a while for an ambulance to arrive.

Totally Communications sent Freedom of Information requests to each Ambulance Trust in the country. The resulting Ambulance Response Times map shows  how likely you are to wait more than eight minutes for an ambulance in each UK postcode area.

Search for a postcode or mouse-over an area on the map and you can view the median response times for ambulances responding to 'life threatening calls' and the percentage of life threatening calls responded to in under eight minutes. A bar graph also shows the response times for each quarter in the last three years.
