Cameron Booth has been having a lot of fun creating interactive maps from his great collection of transit maps. He has also created an interactive version of the Poole Brothers gorgeous 1898 Bird's-Eye View of the Business District of Chicago.
To create this interactive version of the map Cameron used Thematic Mapping's Zoomify plugin for Leaflet. If you like the Chicago map you can buy a print of it from Cameron Booth's website.
