Climate Central's Surging Seas is one of the best mapped visualizations of the possible results of rising sea levels. They have now released a new map showing the likely consequences of a 2°C warming in global temperatures.
A new paper, published in the journal Science, suggests that a 2°C rise in global warming would lead to at least 20 feet (6 meters) of eventual sea level rise. Climate Central's 2°C Warming and Sea Level Rise map shows the likely result of this sea level rise on the United States.
You can search how a rise in sea levels would affect your area by searching the map by city or zipcode. The sea levels displayed on the map are based on a water level of 20 feet above local high tide lines.
