Mapping US Foreign Aid
The US government plans to spend $33.9 billion in foreign aid in the 2017 financial year. The money will provide foreign assistance to more than 100 countries around the world.
You can learn which countries will benefit from foreign aid and how much will be spent in each country with the foreignassistance.gov Map of Foreign Assistance Worldwide. The map provides a choropleth view showing the amount of money in foreign assistance going to each country.
If you select an individual country on the map you can view how much money the US plans to spend in foreign assistance in the country and in what areas. You can also click to download a breakdown of the data showing how the aid will be spent.
The Map of Foreign Assistance Worldwide also allows you to explore where foreign assistance has been spent around the world in previous financial years and how that money was spent.
