Canadian Economic Recovery Google Map

Canada's Economic Action Plan Map

In Canada the government has introduced an Economic Action Plan to try and ensure a quick economic recovery and long-term economic growth. As of April 1, 2009, the Canadian government began pumping $20 billion directly into the economy.

As part of the plan the government has promised to report regularly to Canadians on the implementation of the Economic Action Plan. Part of that communication with tax payers involves this Google Map of projects that shows where some of the money is being put into action. Each marker on the map represents a single project. Clicking on a project map marker opens an information window with details about the project, the amount of funding it has received and a link to related websites.
